Workers who respond to hazardous material emergency are required to take a safety training based on the level of work activities at the worksite. The HAZWOPER first responder awareness level training program is formulated for the workers who respond to hazardous material emergency.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The HAZWOPER first responder level training covers a broad issue that applies to the hazard recognition at worksites. HAZWOPER first responder awareness training program is formulated to protect the workers at hazardous sites and devised an extensive regulation to ensure their well being and safety. The Course helps workers to identify various kinds of hazards and it also suggests the possible precautions and protective measures to minimize or eliminate hazards at worksites.

This HAZWOPER training course has been accepted for four hours of continuing education.

Testing:

We have module quizzes where the students need to score 70% to proceed further in the course. For final exams also students are required to score minimum 70% of marks to receive certificate of completion. The final exam can be taken 3 times if required.
